Moukarivasara Wiha Safety 26434 puuvarsi musta keltainen 290 mm 300 g

The Wiha Safety dead blow hammer with wood handle (model 26434) is a compact soft-face hammer designed to deliver controlled strikes while minimising surface damage. The 290 mm tool, weighing 300 g, combines a powder-coated malleable cast iron safety shell with a hickory handle and two replaceable soft faces in black and yellow for different impact characteristics.

Advantages

Powder-coated safety shells with grooves secure the faces and handle, reducing the risk of parts loosening during use. The hickory shaft has an ergonomic profile and a non-slip surface for improved grip and handling. Two face materials—black caoutchouc (medium soft, wear-resistant) and yellow polyurethane (medium hard, colourfast and wear-resistant)—allow selection of the appropriate striking hardness for the task. The dead blow construction reduces rebound for more precise, controlled strikes.

How to use

Select the face material that matches the required striking hardness and ensure the face and handle are correctly seated in the grooved safety shell. Hold the hickory handle with a secure grip and strike the workpiece with controlled force to avoid unnecessary damage. Use the dead blow characteristic to minimise rebound and increase strike precision. Inspect the faces and handle before each use and replace faces when worn.

Recommendations

For tasks requiring minimal surface marking, use the black caoutchouc face. For firmer impacts where colourfastness and higher hardness are needed, use the yellow polyurethane face. Store the hammer in a dry place and check the safety shell and handle regularly for signs of wear or damage.
