LogicKeyboard Avid Media Composer DE CKB-MCOM4-BJPU-DE is a PC-compatible keyboard with a German (DE) layout, engineered to match the shortcut scheme of Avid Media Composer. The keyboard displays dedicated legends for common editing commands and navigation functions to help users locate keys quickly. It is designed as a hardware complement for editors and post-production professionals who prefer tactile controls and visual shortcut cues while working in Media Composer on Windows-based systems.

Advantages

The keyboard presents clear, permanently printed key legends that correspond to Avid Media Composer functions, reducing the need to memorize complex shortcut combinations. Its standard PC-compatible key mechanism ensures compatibility with common editing software and operating systems. The German layout maintains familiar character placement for native DE users while adding editing-specific markings to speed workflow. The physical design supports fast access to timeline controls, trimming tools and transport commands without additional software configuration.

Recommendations

Place the keyboard within comfortable reach of your editing station and combine it with a quality mouse or control surface for complex editing sessions. Regularly clean the key surfaces and avoid liquid exposure. If you use custom keyboard mappings in Media Composer, verify that the on-key legends match your software configuration or adjust shortcuts in the application to align with the physical key labels.
