Näyttövarren laajennussarja ERGOTRON 98-734-292 korkeussäädettävä VESA-teline

The ERGOTRON 98-734-292 Adjustable Height VESA Mount Expansion Kit is an accessory designed to extend or upgrade existing Ergotron monitor arms. It provides an adjustable-height VESA interface that allows compatible displays to be attached securely to a preinstalled arm system, enabling ergonomic vertical positioning for single or multi-monitor setups in office and home environments.

Advantages

This expansion kit adds adjustable height capability while preserving the original arm’s range of motion and stability. It supports standard VESA mounting patterns, simplifies repositioning of the display vertically, and integrates with compatible Ergotron mounting systems to expand multi-monitor configurations without replacing the entire arm. The kit is finished in a dark color to match common office hardware and is sized to minimize additional footprint.

Suitable for

• Upgrading an Ergotron monitor arm to add vertical adjustment for a single display
• Expanding an existing multi-monitor arm setup to support an additional screen
• Office or home workstations where ergonomic height adjustment is required
• Environments using VESA-compatible monitors where a modular mount is preferred

When it may not be suitable

This expansion kit is intended specifically for compatibility with Ergotron arm systems; it may not be compatible with non-Ergotron arms or mounts that use different attachment geometries. If a monitor or mounting arm does not match the required VESA pattern, weight capacity, or mechanical interface, the kit will not provide secure attachment or safe operation.

Key specifications

• Mount type: Adjustable-height VESA mount interface for monitor arms
• Color/finish: Dark/black finish to match common desk hardware
• Compatibility: Designed to integrate with compatible Ergotron arm systems and VESA-standard displays
• Function: Adds vertical adjustment to an existing arm without replacing the full assembly
• Use cases: Single- and multi-monitor configurations for office and home workstations

How to use

Install the expansion kit onto the compatible Ergotron arm according to the manufacturer’s instructions, aligning the VESA interface with the monitor’s VESA mounting holes. Secure the monitor with the appropriate fasteners and verify that the combined arm and kit support the monitor’s weight. Adjust the height incrementally to set the desired ergonomic position and confirm all locking points are tightened to maintain stability during regular use.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your existing arm model is compatible with this expansion kit and supports the required mechanical interface
• Verify the monitor’s VESA mounting pattern and weight fall within the arm system’s supported range
• Check workspace clearance and the additional vertical range needed for ergonomic positioning
• Ensure you have the appropriate tools and mounting hardware if not included with the kit

Recommendations

Use this expansion kit to add or refine vertical positioning in an established Ergotron arm installation. For safety and long-term performance, follow Ergotron’s assembly and torque guidelines, periodically inspect fasteners, and avoid exceeding the supported monitor weight or VESA pattern limits.
