networking-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS08-27000 harmaa 0.25 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-27000 is a 0.25 m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable designed for high-speed wired connections. With S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains stable data transmission up to 10,000 Mbit/s. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home or office installations.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (S-STP) construction offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and reliable 10G Ethernet performance over short distances. The compact 0.25 m length is convenient for close-range device connections and patching in dense network setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices at short distances (switch to server, switch to patch panel)
• 10G Ethernet links within racks or desktop setups
• Home and office network patching where shielded cabling is required

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (for example, switch, router, server or network interface). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Use the 0.25 m cable for short links inside racks, between closely placed devices, or as a patch cable in structured cabling environments.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending or kinking of the cable and keep it clear of strong electromagnetic sources. Use shielded ports and grounded equipment when deploying S/FTP cabling to maintain shielding effectiveness.
