Niittimutteri GESIPA M5 7×11,5 mm 0,25–3 mm, litteä pyöreä kanta

GESIPA Nutsert / Blind Rivet Nut M5 with a 7×11.5 mm body and a flat round head creates a permanent internal M5 thread in thin materials where access is available from one side. The insert is suitable for sheet thicknesses from 0.25 mm to 3 mm and is intended for use with standard blind rivet nut installation tools. It is used in applications that require a reliable, load-bearing threaded connection in metalworking, automotive, HVAC and general assembly contexts.

Advantages

The blind rivet nut features a flat round head design that distributes load across the mounting surface and reduces the risk of pull-through in thin sheets. Its 7×11.5 mm body provides stable anchoring and consistent collapse behavior during installation, resulting in a reliable M5 internal thread. The product supports one-sided installation, simplifying assembly in confined or inaccessible areas and reducing the need for welds or tapping operations.

How to use

Drill a hole matching the rivet nut body dimensions into the workpiece, ensuring correct hole size and edge condition. Insert the blind rivet nut into the hole with the flat round head flush against the sheet surface. Use a compatible blind rivet nut installation tool (hand or pneumatic) configured for M5 rivet nuts to pull and form the blind side until the rivet nut is securely deformed and anchored. Remove the tool and verify that the M5 internal thread is properly formed and the head sits flat against the material.

Recommendations

For best results, select a drill size recommended for a 7×11.5 mm rivet nut body and check material hardness; use an installation tool calibrated for M5 rivet nuts to ensure consistent setting force. Inspect installed rivet nuts for correct deformation and thread integrity before applying torque to fasteners. Avoid overtightening screws to prevent stripping the M5 thread in thin sheets.
