Bridgedale StormSock Lt Boot vedenpitävät sukat - musta/harmaa

When wet feet threaten to cut an adventure short, the Bridgedale StormSock Lt Boot steps in as a waterproof barrier that keeps you moving. Unlike standard waterproof socks that trap heat and feel bulky, this model pairs a three-layer Hydrotech membrane with a lightweight knit for a performance fit that disappears inside your boots. The outer shell blends 95% nylon with 5% Lycra® for durability and stretch, while the inner lining combines 50% merino wool with 45% polyester and 5% Lycra® to wick moisture and resist odour. A flat toe seam and Y-heel construction eliminate pressure points, and the elasticated arch keeps the sock securely in place. Rated at 10,000mm hydrostatic head and 15,000 g/m²/24h breathability, it shrugs off rain, puddles, and stream crossings without turning into a sauna. Ideal for three-season hiking and trekking, the StormSock Lt Boot is the reliable layer your footwear has been missing.

Highlights

• Hydrotech waterproof and breathable membrane: 10,000mm HH rating
• Lightweight 3-layer construction: 95% nylon / 5% Lycra® outer, merino wool blend inner
• Performance fit with flat toe seam, Y-heel, and elasticated arch support
• Moisture-wicking and odour-resistant inner lining
• Boot-length height for full coverage in hiking boots

In daily use

On the trail, the StormSock Lt Boot proves its worth when the weather turns. The waterproof membrane blocks external moisture while allowing sweat vapour to escape, so your feet stay dry from both directions. The merino wool inner feels soft against the skin and actively manages moisture, reducing the clammy feeling common in lesser waterproof socks. The elasticated arch and Y-heel keep the sock from bunching or slipping, even during long descents or river crossings. Whether you're pushing through wet grass, splashing across a stream, or hiking in steady rain, these socks maintain comfort and protection. They work best with well-fitting boots and can be worn as a liner over a thin base sock or on their own. After a wet day, simply rinse and hang to dry – the materials resist odour, so they stay fresher for longer.
