Tatonka Pyrox 45+10 vaellusreppu

The Tatonka Pyrox 45+10 stands out with its X Vent Zero-Plus carrying system, which combines a lightweight fiberglass frame with maximum airflow to keep your back dry on demanding hikes. Unlike conventional packs that trap heat, this system creates a ventilated gap while maintaining a close, stable fit. The 45+10 litre capacity offers flexibility: 45 litres of main storage plus a 10-litre expandable collar for extra gear or food on longer trips.

Highlights

• X Vent Zero-Plus back system for excellent ventilation and load transfer
• Adjustable back length for a custom fit
• Multiple access points: top, front, and bottom
• Integrated rain cover and hydration system compatibility
• PFC-free materials for environmental responsibility

In daily use

On the trail, the Pyrox 45+10 proves its worth with thoughtful organization. The lid pocket keeps essentials within reach, while the front pocket and two side pockets offer quick storage for maps, snacks, or a water bottle. Two hip belt pockets secure small items like a phone or compass. Compression straps on the sides stabilize the load, and gear loops on the front and lid provide attachment points for trekking poles or an ice axe. The bottom compartment is ideal for a sleeping bag or wet gear, separated from the main compartment. The robust 450 HD Polyoxford with T-Square Rip construction resists abrasion, and the Textreme 6.6 bottom adds extra durability. The included rain cover ensures your gear stays dry in sudden downpours. With a recommended load of up to 15 kg, this pack is suited for multi-day treks, hut-to-hut tours, and lightweight backpacking.
