Nvidia ConnectX-6 Dx EN sisäinen kuitu-moduuli 100000 Mbit/s PCI Express langallinen

NVIDIA ConnectX-6 Dx EN is a smart network interface card designed for cloud and data center environments. It delivers high-speed fiber connectivity over a PCI Express host interface and supports up to 100 Gb/s per port to accelerate networking, security, virtualization and storage workloads while reducing CPU overhead.

Advantages

The card integrates hardware accelerations for virtual switch and virtual router functions and offers choices of SR-IOV and VirtIO to match deployment needs. It supports multi-rate SerDes technology for 25/50/100 Gb/s operation, and its offload capabilities free CPU cores for application processing, improving overall efficiency and lowering total cost of ownership.

Suitable for

• Cloud and hyperscale data center networking
• Virtualization and NFV/SDN deployments
• High-performance storage and big data clusters
• Machine learning and AI infrastructure
• Security-accelerated network services

Key specifications

• Connectivity: wired fiber over PCI Express host interface
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 100000 Mbit/s per supported port
• Supported link speeds: multi-rate SerDes (including 25 Gb/s, 50 Gb/s PAM4, and 100 Gb/s)
• Form factor: internal PCI Express network adapter
• Typical colours: green and grey housing

How to use

Install the ConnectX-6 Dx EN into an available PCI Express slot in a compatible server following the server and card manufacturer instructions. Connect fiber cables to the card ports and configure network settings and drivers in the host operating system or hypervisor. Enable hardware acceleration features and SR-IOV or VirtIO as required by the workload to offload networking tasks from the CPU.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in data center environments, pair the card with compatible NIC firmware and switch hardware that support the intended link speeds and features. Use appropriate driver versions provided by the vendor and validate SR-IOV or VirtIO configuration with your virtualization platform.
