OBO Bettermann 2001861 Abox-i kaapelinhaaroitusrasia 50 x 110 x 110 mm harmaa IP67

For installations where moisture, dust, and mechanical stress are daily realities, the OBO Bettermann 2001861 Abox-i junction box delivers uncompromising protection. Unlike generic enclosures that rely on cable glands and compromise the IP rating at every entry, this box uses elastic membrane entries that seal tightly around cables without additional fittings. The result is a genuinely waterproof IP67 housing that keeps connections safe even under temporary submersion.

Highlights

• IP67 protection: dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion
• 8 elastic membrane entries for quick, tool-free cable insertion
• Integrated 5-pole screw terminal for conductors up to 2.5 mm²
• Halogen-free, flame-retardant polypropylene (glow wire 850 °C)
• UV-resistant and impact-resistant (IK08) for harsh environments
• Quick-release lid fasteners for fast access during maintenance

In daily use

Mounting the Abox-i is straightforward thanks to internal fixing points that allow wall or ceiling installation without external lugs. The grey RAL 7035 housing blends into industrial and commercial settings, while the TPE seal remains flexible across a wide temperature range from -35 to +80 °C. Electricians will appreciate the generous 50 mm depth, which provides ample space for wiring even when using the maximum conductor cross-section.
