OBO Bettermann messinkinen supistus M25 - M16, metrinen kierre, IP65, halogeeniton 2089548

Connecting conduits or cable glands with different thread sizes often forces compromises—adapters that leak, corrode, or fail under temperature swings. The OBO Bettermann Brass Reducer 167 R MS M25-16 solves this by providing a robust, precision-machined brass transition from M25 male to M16 female metric threads. It ensures a tight, durable seal for electrical installations, keeping out dust and moisture while maintaining full mechanical integrity.

Who is it for

Electricians, panel builders, and maintenance technicians who need to reduce conduit or gland sizes in industrial, commercial, or outdoor environments. It suits anyone requiring a reliable, halogen-free, and RoHS-compliant connection in cable management systems.

Main features

• Precision-machined from high-quality brass (CuZn39Pb3) for excellent corrosion resistance and conductivity.
• Metric external thread M25 x 1.5 to metric internal thread M16 x 1.5, compliant with EN 60423.
• IP65 protection when used with suitable sealing, ensuring dust-tight and water-jet resistance.
• Wide operating temperature range from -25 °C to +100 °C for demanding environments.
• Halogen-free and RoHS compliant, supporting safe and sustainable installations.

Tips

For optimal sealing, pair this reducer with appropriate O-rings or sealing washers and tighten to the recommended torque. Inspect threads before installation to avoid cross-threading. In outdoor applications, consider additional protection against aggressive chemicals if the environment is highly corrosive.
