Ohitusoksasakset Bahco P114-SL-60 leikkaushalkaisija 3 cm pituus 600 mm

The Bahco P114-SL-60 bypass lopper is a hand tool designed for pruning and cutting small branches with precision. With a 600 mm length and lightweight aluminium handles, it balances reach and maneuverability for garden and orchard tasks. The bypass cutting action and sharp blade profile allow clean cuts on living wood up to 3 cm in diameter, reducing damage to plants and promoting healthy regrowth. At approximately 826 g, the tool is easy to hold and position during repeated use.

Advantages

The lightweight aluminium handles reduce user fatigue while providing sufficient leverage for controlled cuts. The bypass cutting mechanism ensures a shearing action that leaves smooth wound surfaces on branches, which helps reduce risk of disease and accelerates healing. The 600 mm overall length offers extended reach compared with short-handled pruners, allowing access to higher or deeper branches without the need for a ladder. The compact cutting capacity of up to 3 cm makes this lopper well-suited to routine pruning and shaping tasks.

Suitable for

• Pruning small branches and twigs in home gardens
• Shaping shrubs and ornamental plants
• Light orchard maintenance and fruit tree pruning
• Clearing small deadwood and removing crossing branches

Key specifications

• Type: bypass lopper (bypass cutting action)
• Maximum cutting diameter: 3 cm
• Total length: 600 mm
• Handle material: aluminium (lightweight)
• Weight: approximately 826 g

How to use

Hold the lopper with both hands, positioning one near the blade head and the other on the end of the handle for leverage. Place the branch to be cut between the bypass blades, keeping the cutting action close to the collar of the branch for a clean cut. Apply steady pressure until the blades close fully; avoid twisting the tool during the cut. For thicker or woody branches close to the 3 cm limit, make controlled, deliberate cuts and inspect blade sharpness regularly. After use, wipe blades clean and store the lopper in a dry place to prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Use the Bahco P114-SL-60 for routine pruning tasks on living wood up to 3 cm diameter; for larger branches select an appropriate larger lopper or saw. Keep blades sharp and clean to maintain cutting performance and reduce plant damage. Wear protective gloves and eye protection when pruning to reduce the risk of injury from slipping branches or flying debris.
