Optinen audiokaapeli ShiverPeaks 69014-1.0, Toslink 3,5 mm, 1,0 m, 4,0 mm vaippa

The ShiverPeaks 69014-1.0 optical audio cable converts a Toslink (optical) connection to a 3.5 mm optical mini-plug, providing one metre of fiber optic transmission contained in a 4.0 mm outer jacket. This cable is intended for digital audio transfer between devices such as TVs, soundbars, DACs and portable players that feature a 3.5 mm optical input, offering electrical isolation and natural immunity to electromagnetic interference for stable, noise-free signal transmission.

Advantages

The cable’s optical fibre transmits digital audio without electrical contact between source and sink, preventing ground loops and reducing susceptibility to radio-frequency and electromagnetic interference. The 4.0 mm jacket provides a compact, flexible profile suitable for neat routing behind equipment. With a 1.0 m length, the cable is convenient for short connections in living rooms, home studios or portable setups while maintaining the signal integrity expected from S/PDIF optical links.

Suitable for

• Connecting a television to a soundbar or home audio receiver with a 3.5 mm optical input
• Linking portable audio players or DACs that use a 3.5 mm optical mini-plug
• Temporary or permanent routing in small home theatre or desktop audio installations
• Applications requiring electrical isolation between audio devices to avoid hum or interference

Key specifications

• Connector types: Toslink (optical) to 3.5 mm optical mini-plug
• Cable length: 1.0 m
• Outer jacket diameter: 4.0 mm
• Transmission: digital optical (S/PDIF compatible)
• Jacket material: flexible insulating sheath (compact profile)

How to use

Align the Toslink plug with the optical output on the source device and insert gently until it seats. Insert the 3.5 mm optical mini-plug into the matching optical input on the destination device, taking care to avoid bending the fibre sharply near the ends. Power the connected devices and select the appropriate digital audio output/input settings in device menus as needed. For best results, keep the cable free from tight kinks and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power cables for extended lengths.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium internal connections where a compact optical link is required. Avoid repeated extreme bending or crushing of the fibre and store the cable loosely coiled when not in use to preserve optical performance.
