Optinen kuitukaapeliliitin DeLOCK 67046 LC duplex naaras LC duplex naaras OS2 IP68

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Cable Connector LC Duplex Female to LC Duplex Female OS2 IP68 is a coupler designed to join two LC duplex optical fiber cables. Built for outdoor and harsh environments, the connector provides a stable LC/LC UPC connection for singlemode OS2 fibres and comes in a single-piece pack. The device is black and intended for reliable high-speed data transmission where protection from dust and water is required.

Advantages

The connector is rated IP68 for dust and waterproof performance, providing enhanced protection against dirt and moisture at the fibre junction. Its LC duplex to LC duplex configuration maintains alignment for singlemode OS2 connections and supports secure, low-loss mating of LC UPC terminated cables. The compact design and single-piece packaging make it convenient for field installation.

Suitable for

• Extending or repairing singlemode OS2 optical fibre links
• Outdoor fiber installations exposed to moisture or dust
• Network connections requiring LC duplex to LC duplex coupling

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC duplex female to LC duplex female (UPC)
• Fibre type: Singlemode OS2
• Ingress protection: IP68 (dust and waterproof)
• Colour: Black
• Packaging: 1 piece

How to use

Prepare each fibre cable by ensuring LC UPC connectors are clean and undamaged. Insert the LC duplex connector of the first cable into one side of the coupler and the LC duplex connector of the second cable into the opposite side until fully seated. Verify optical continuity and signal levels after connection. For outdoor installations, ensure proper sealing and strain relief of the cable entries to maintain IP68 protection.

Recommendations

Before installation, clean connector end-faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools and inspect them with a fibre scope. Maintain the IP68 integrity by checking seals and gaskets regularly, especially after exposure to harsh weather.
