Optinen Toslink-kaapeli ShiverPeaks 69014-2.0 — 2,0 m, 4,0 mm Toslink 3,5 mm

Optical Toslink Cable ShiverPeaks 69014-2.0 is a 2.0 m digital optical audio cable with a 4.0 mm Toslink connector on one end and a 3.5 mm optical plug on the other. It is intended to transmit digital audio signals between devices such as TVs, soundbars, DACs and portable audio players that accept a 3.5 mm optical input. The cable supports optical transfer of multichannel PCM and compressed surround formats where the connected equipment provides decoding and format support.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks 69014-2.0 cable offers a fiber-optic transmission path that eliminates electrical interference and ground-loop noise common in copper interconnects. Its 2.0 m length provides flexibility for connecting equipment across typical home entertainment setups without introducing signal conversion. The compact 3.5 mm optical plug allows compatibility with devices that use a mini-Toslink input while the standardized 4.0 mm Toslink connector fits most full-size optical jacks.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a soundbar or home speaker system using optical audio
• Linking portable audio players or compact DACs with a 3.5 mm optical input to devices with Toslink output
• Replacing or extending existing optical connections in living rooms, bedrooms or small studios

Key specifications

• Cable type: digital optical (Toslink) fiber
• Length: 2.0 m
• Connector A: standard 4.0 mm Toslink plug
• Connector B: 3.5 mm optical (mini-Toslink) plug
• Construction: single-mode optical fiber for digital audio transmission

How to use

Identify the optical output on the source device (commonly labeled OPTICAL OUT or DIGITAL AUDIO OUT) and the optical input on the receiving device (OPTICAL IN or DIGITAL AUDIO IN). Remove protective caps from both connectors, align the keyed Toslink plug with the socket and insert gently until it seats. For devices with a 3.5 mm optical jack, insert the mini-Toslink end until it is fully connected. Select the appropriate digital audio output format in the source device settings if required (for example, PCM or bitstream) and set the receiving device to the correct input.

Recommendations

Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve the optical fiber. Keep connector end caps when the cable is not in use to prevent dust ingress. If audio drops out, check that both ends are firmly connected and that source and sink devices are configured for optical output and input respectively.
