Ovilukko Extralink ROUND LOCK FOR CABINETS, pyöreä kaapin ovilukko, hopea

Extralink ROUND LOCK FOR CABINETS is a round mechanical door lock designed for cabinet and enclosure doors. Finished in silver, this compact round cabinet door lock provides a discreet locking solution for furniture, server racks and small enclosures where a circular lock fitting is required. The lock is suitable for most rack models that allow lock mounting and helps prevent unauthorized access to installed equipment.

Advantages

The round design offers a low-profile appearance that integrates with different cabinet styles while occupying minimal space. Constructed for straightforward mechanical operation, the lock requires no power and delivers reliable physical security for doors and panels. Its silver finish resists visible wear and complements common rack and furniture colours. Installation is simple and compatible with mounting holes typically found in server and network cabinets.

Suitable for

• Network and server cabinets with lock mounting provisions
• Furniture doors and storage enclosures
• Small equipment cabinets and utility panels
• Applications requiring a discreet circular lock

Key specifications

• Type: mechanical round cabinet door lock
• Finish: silver
• Form factor: round, compact
• Mounting: panel/cabinet door mount (suitable for standard lock cutouts)
• Operation: manual key or turn mechanism (mechanical, no power required)

How to use

Install the lock into the prepared round cutout on the cabinet or enclosure door, ensuring the lock body aligns with the internal latch or strike. Secure the lock in place using the supplied retaining nut or fastening hardware, then check that the latch engages and the door closes flush. Operate the lock with the supplied key or turn mechanism to verify locking and unlocking action. Regularly inspect the mounting and mechanism for wear and ensure smooth operation by keeping moving parts free of debris.

Recommendations

For improved security, fit the lock into cabinets where access control is required for networking or server equipment. Verify that the cabinet's mounting hole diameter and latch alignment match the lock dimensions before installation. If used in outdoor or high-humidity environments, consider additional rust-protection for adjacent fittings and periodic lubrication of the mechanism.
