Jung 8471.02 LED W is a wired pushbutton switch in white with an integrated LED indicator, intended as a compact control element for lighting and building automation circuits. The device provides a pushbutton interface for switching, dimming and shutter control when used together with the appropriate application program. The pushbutton BCU is composed of the hardware device and the required software application; operation and behavior depend on the installed application program. The unit supports different indicator modes: LED always on, LED always off and LED status indication.

How to use

Install the Jung 8471.02 LED W as a wired input device within the intended switch system following applicable electrical and installation standards. Configure and upload the appropriate application program to enable switching, dimming or shutter functions; without the application the push-button BCU hardware alone does not provide full functionality. Select and mount the correct centre plate matching the chosen rocker version (1-gang or 2-gang) and connect wiring according to the system documentation. Use the pushbutton to operate upper or lower rockers as permitted by the selected push-button variant and configured application.

Recommendations

For predictable behaviour, commission the device together with the system controller and the specific application program. Choose the LED mode that matches your installation needs: permanent illumination for visibility in dark areas or status indication to reflect device or automation states. Follow manufacturer instructions for wiring, mounting and software configuration to ensure safe and reliable operation.
