Palopeite no fire NO 120x180 seinäkaapissa — 120×180 cm palopeite

The no fire NO 120x180 fire blanket in a wall box is a compact fire safety accessory designed to smother small fires and provide emergency protection. The blanket measures 120×180 cm and is stored in a wall-mounted box for quick access and secure storage. It is intended for use on kitchen cookware fires, small textile and waste-bin fires, or as an immediate protective wrap for a person whose clothing has caught fire. Deployment is simple: pull the release tabs to extract the blanket and cover the flame area to reduce oxygen and interrupt combustion.

Advantages

The fire blanket offers a straightforward, maintenance-light solution for first-response fire suppression where use of an extinguisher may be impractical. Its wall box makes the blanket visible and readily available while protecting the fabric from dust and damage. The 120×180 cm size balances coverage and storage convenience, allowing the blanket to cover most hobs, pans and a large portion of a person’s body for emergency protection. The design supports rapid single-person deployment and reduces the need for close contact with flames when used properly.

Suitable for

• Smothering small kitchen fires on cookware (pans, deep fryers)
• Extinguishing small textile or waste-bin fires
• Emergency protection and rescue wrapping for a person with burning clothing
• Workshops, garages, small commercial kitchens and home kitchens

Key specifications

• Blanket dimensions: 120 × 180 cm
• Storage: wall-mounted box for secure and visible placement
• Material: fire-retardant fabric designed to cut oxygen supply to flames
• Deployment method: pull tabs for rapid extraction and placement
• Intended use: manual smothering of small, localized fires and emergency protective wrapping

How to use

Open the wall box and grasp the blanket by the exposed pull tabs. Hold the blanket between you and the fire, then carefully place or throw it over the source of the flame to fully cover the burning material. If protecting a person, wrap the blanket around them to isolate flames from oxygen and immediately call emergency services. After smothering the fire, leave the blanket in place until the area has cooled and the fire is fully extinguished. Replace or professionally inspect the blanket and box after any use.

Recommendations

Use the blanket only on small, contained fires. Do not attempt to extinguish large or rapidly spreading fires with a blanket; evacuate and call emergency services. Store the wall box in a visible, easily reachable location free from obstructions and away from direct heat sources. Regularly check that the box is intact and the pull tabs are accessible.
