Palvelinkotelo Supermicro CSE-745BAC-R1K23B Full Tower musta

The Supermicro CSE-745BAC-R1K23B Full Tower is a server chassis engineered for Intel Xeon platforms and compatible with previous-generation Intel and AMD single- and dual-processor motherboards. It includes a 1230 W high-efficiency power supply, eight hot-swap 3.5" drive bays and support for 2.5", 3.5" and 5.25" drives. The chassis is sized at 178 mm (W) x 647 mm (D) x 452 mm (H) and is available in a black finish. The design supports conversion to a 4U rack-mountable configuration in a standard rack if required.

Advantages

The chassis uses redundant, high-efficiency (95%+) power delivery and multiple hot-swap drive bays to simplify maintenance and reduce service time. Its cooling architecture employs several 80 mm fans and a 100% cooling redundancy approach to lower the risk of thermal throttling or system downtime. Tool-less PCIe expansion slots and 6-pin power connectors enable straightforward installation of up to three high-end graphics cards, while the full-tower layout provides generous internal space for complex server builds.

Suitable for

• Enterprise servers requiring high-availability power and cooling
• Workstations with multiple GPUs or PCIe cards
• Storage servers using multiple hot-swap 3.5" drives
• Data center racks after conversion to 4U rack-mount format

Key specifications

• Model: Supermicro CSE-745BAC-R1K23B
• Power supply: 1230 W, high-efficiency (95%+)
• Drive bays: Eight hot-swap 3.5" bays; supports 2.5", 3.5" and 5.25" drives
• Fans: Three 80 mm front fans and two 80 mm rear fans
• Expansion: Seven tool-less PCIe slots; supports up to three GPUs with 6-pin connectors
• Compatibility: Intel Xeon and previous Intel/AMD single- and dual-socket motherboards
• Dimensions: 178 mm (W) x 647 mm (D) x 452 mm (H)
• Color: Black
• Rack conversion: Optional conversion to 4U rack-mountable chassis

How to use

Install a compatible single- or dual-socket motherboard and connect the 1230 W power supply to the board and peripherals. Populate the hot-swap 3.5" bays with appropriate hard drives or SSD adapters, and plug in the front and rear fans as specified by the motherboard and chassis wiring. Use the tool-less PCIe slots to fit expansion cards or GPUs, ensuring each high-power card is supplied via the available 6-pin power connectors. If rack installation is needed, follow the manufacturer's conversion procedure to convert the tower into a 4U rack-mountable chassis and secure it in a standard rack.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use server-grade power and storage components that match the chassis' cooling and power capabilities; ensure adequate airflow in the installation environment and verify that the power supply and GPU power connections meet the requirements of installed components.
