Patch-kaapeli ACT CAT5E U/UTP kierretty sininen 305 m

ACT CAT5E U/UTP stranded patch cable in blue, 305 m long, designed for Ethernet and general networking use. The cable consists of four twisted pairs of stranded AWG24 copper conductors with a PVC outer jacket and a 5.6 mm overall diameter, providing flexibility for installation in horizontal and patching applications.

Advantages

The stranded AWG24 conductors provide enhanced flexibility compared with solid-core cables, making this cable suitable for patch panels and movable connections. The U/UTP design (unshielded) is appropriate for typical office and home environments where shielding is not required. The 305 m reel length reduces the need for frequent joins and supports larger installations.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networks up to Cat5e performance
• Patch panels and switch-to-device connections
• Horizontal cabling in offices and homes where unshielded cable is acceptable

Key specifications

• Cable construction: 4 x 2 x 0.14 mm²
• Conductors: Stranded copper AWG24
• Pairs: Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White, Brown/White
• Material: PVC jacket
• Diameter: 5.6 mm
• Length: 305 m
• Type: CAT5E U/UTP patch cable

How to use

Cut the required length from the 305 m reel and terminate both ends with appropriate RJ45 connectors or use jacks/patch panels rated for Cat5e. Follow standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B) and use proper crimping and testing tools to verify continuity and performance. Avoid sharp bends and maintain recommended bend radius during installation.

Recommendations

For best results, keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and avoid running parallel to mains power cables. Use this stranded Cat5e cable for patching and short horizontal runs; for long, permanent horizontal installations consider solid-core cable where appropriate.
