Patch-kaapeli ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 — malli 08-35004, suurnopeus-Ethernet

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable model 08-35004 is a high-performance network lead engineered for reliable Ethernet links. This Category 7 unshielded twisted-pair (U/UTP) cable terminated with RJ45 plugs supports elevated data rates and is intended for use in structured cabling environments such as LANs, server rooms, and office networks. The cable’s design focuses on reduced crosstalk and consistent signal transmission over short to medium patch lengths, making it a practical choice for connecting switches, routers, workstations and patch panels.

Advantages

The cable provides Category 7 performance in an unshielded format, combining higher bandwidth capability with flexible handling and easy installation. Solid RJ45 terminations ensure consistent contact and low insertion loss. Its compact length and streamlined jacket permit tidy routing in dense patching fields and rack installations. The cable’s construction aims to deliver stable throughput and minimized interference for typical network patching scenarios.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches and patch panels in data centers and server rooms
• Workstation to wall outlet or switch connections in office networks
• Interconnects in structured cabling where Cat 7 compatibility is specified
• Temporary or permanent links in LAN testing and setup environments

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ45 plug to RJ45 plug
• Typical application: Ethernet patching for LANs, servers and switches
• Cable length: 0.25 m (short patch lead)
• Color: red (jacket color for visual identification)

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug into the network device (switch, router, patch panel or workstation outlet) and the opposite plug into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and heavy compression to maintain signal integrity. Use the short patch length for close-proximity connections in racks and panels; label cables as required for easy identification during maintenance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat 7 U/UTP patch cable for short-distance interconnects within racks and patch panels. Avoid running it alongside high-power electrical cabling for extended distances and maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cables. Periodic visual inspection of terminations can help ensure long-term contact reliability.
