Patch-paneeli 1U Lanberg PPS5-1024-S

The Lanberg PPS5-1024-S is a 1U patch panel intended for use in main and secondary distribution points of fast telecommunications systems. It is a passive component of structured cabling used for termination and organization of twisted-pair cables within 19" rack cabinets and features 24 shielded RJ-45 ports compliant with category 5e. The panel is made of durable metal with a grey finish and includes a stiffened shelf with handles and an attached cable management panel to simplify assembly and improve stability.

Advantages

The patch panel offers 24 shielded Cat5e RJ-45 ports for reliable network connections and uses IDC/LSA connectors to provide fast, tool-assisted termination of twisted-pair cables. Its 1U rack design and compact dimensions (445 mm × 44.5 mm × 114.5 mm) make it compatible with standard 19" cabinets. The integrated cable management panel and stiffened shelf with handles help organize cabling and improve mechanical stability.

Suitable for

• Organizing Ethernet cabling in server rooms and network racks
• Main and secondary distribution points in structured cabling systems
• Termination of Cat5 and Cat5e twisted-pair cables
• Small to medium business network installations

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack occupying one unit (1U) of height. Route and secure incoming twisted-pair cables to the cable management panel, then terminate each pair into the IDC/LSA connectors according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). After termination, check connections and plug patch cords into the front RJ-45 jacks to connect network equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use Cat5e-rated shielded cabling and maintain proper bend radius. Label ports after termination for easier maintenance and avoid overloading a single rack unit with excessive weight; distribute cable strain using the provided handles and cable management panel.
