Patchkaapeli Helos 118147 RJ-45 5,0 m SFTP Cat

Shielded patch cable helos 118147 with RJ-45 connectors, 5.0 m length and SFTP construction is designed for reliable Ethernet connections in office and home networks. The cable supports Cat-class network wiring and provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference through braided shielding combined with foil, ensuring stable data transmission between network devices, switches and patch panels.

Advantages

The cable’s SFTP design reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over its 5.0 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure low contact resistance and durable mating cycles. The flexible jacket and standardized connector form factor make the cable compatible with common patch panels, switches and network ports while facilitating neat cable management in racks and workstations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, printers and network devices to switches and routers
• Patch panels and network cabinets in office environments
• Home networks requiring shielded connections to reduce interference
• Short horizontal runs and desk-side connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Cable length: 5.0 m
• Shielding: SFTP (braid + foil)
• Category: suitable for Cat-class Ethernet
• Conductor: twisted pair copper conductors
• Jacket: flexible outer sheath for indoor use

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the device and the other into the switch, router or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and place it away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise when possible. For installation in organized racks, use cable ties or Velcro straps to maintain bending radius and reduce mechanical stress on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable for in‑building Ethernet runs up to its 5.0 m length and within standard indoor environments. Avoid exposure to moisture, direct sunlight and temperatures outside typical indoor operating ranges. For environments with very high interference or where grounded shielding is required, verify proper grounding of connected equipment and panels to fully benefit from the SFTP shielding.
