PAWBOL A.0016 pinta-asennettava jakorasia P-2, tyhjä, IP44, valkoinen

Electrical installations in damp or semi-exposed locations often suffer from moisture ingress, leading to corrosion, short circuits, and safety hazards. The PAWBOL A.0016 P-2 surface-mounted junction box addresses this by providing a robust IP44-rated enclosure that shields connections from splashing water and dust. Its empty interior gives electricians full freedom to fit the exact terminals or connectors required for each job, while the eight knockouts allow flexible cable routing from multiple directions.

Who is it for

This junction box is ideal for professional electricians and DIY enthusiasts working on residential, commercial, or light industrial projects. It suits indoor areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and utility rooms, as well as protected outdoor spaces such as covered patios, garages, and garden sheds. If you need a reliable, reusable enclosure for splicing, branching, or housing small devices, this box delivers consistent performance.

Main features

• IP44 ingress protection: resists water splashes from any direction and solid objects over 1 mm, making it safe for damp environments.
• Empty design without terminals: allows custom installation of connectors, terminal blocks, or other components according to project needs.
• Eight cable entries (knockouts): provide versatile wiring options from top, bottom, sides, and rear, simplifying cable management.
• Snap-on lid with optional screw holes: enables quick access during installation while offering secure closure for long-term use.
• Durable polypropylene construction: lightweight, halogen-free, and resistant to impact (IK07), ensuring longevity in demanding conditions.
• Wide operating temperature range: functions reliably from -25°C to +60°C, suitable for unheated spaces and seasonal variations.
• High electrical safety: rated insulation voltage 400V and glow wire test 650°C, meeting strict fire safety standards.
• Compliance with PN-EN 60670-1: guarantees adherence to European safety and performance requirements for junction boxes.

Tips

Before installation, plan the cable entry points and remove only the knockouts you need to maintain the IP44 seal. For outdoor use under cover, apply a suitable sealant around cable glands to enhance moisture resistance. When mounting on uneven surfaces, use the screw holes in the lid for a firm closure that prevents accidental opening. Always verify that the chosen terminals fit comfortably inside the box without overcrowding, which could compromise safety.
