Pensofal 1616 New Era neliömäinen grillipannu 28x28 cm

Pensofal 1616 New Era 28x28 cm is a square stovetop grill pan designed for indoor grilling and searing. The pan features a ridged cooking surface that creates grill marks while allowing fat and juices to drain away from food. With a 28x28 cm cooking area and a construction aimed at even heat distribution, the pan is suitable for preparing meats, fish, vegetables and sandwiches directly on gas, electric and ceramic hobs.

Advantages

The ridged surface reproduces traditional grill marks and helps reduce contact with excess fat during cooking. The square shape increases usable cooking area compared with a round pan of similar diameter. The pan is designed for even heat delivery across the surface to support consistent searing and browning. Its size and stovetop compatibility make it practical for everyday home use and quick high-heat cooking techniques.

Suitable for

• Grilling steaks, chops and poultry on the stovetop
• Seared fish fillets and seafood
• Grilled vegetables and vegetable medleys
• Toasting sandwiches and paninis with defined grill marks

Key specifications

• Shape: square
• Cooking area dimensions: approximately 28 x 28 cm
• Cooking surface: ridged grill plate for fat drainage and grill marks
• Intended use: stovetop grilling on gas, electric and ceramic hobs
• Heat behaviour: designed for even heat distribution and high-temperature searing

How to use

Preheat the Pensofal 1616 New Era grill pan on the stovetop over medium-high heat until the surface is hot enough to sear (a few minutes depending on the hob). Lightly oil the food or the pan as preferred to prevent sticking, then place items on the ridged surface to achieve grill marks. Avoid overcrowding to maintain even heat and allow proper airflow; turn food as needed to cook through. After use, allow the pan to cool slightly before cleaning according to the manufacturer's care recommendations for cookware.

Recommendations

Use moderate amounts of oil for foods prone to sticking, preheat thoroughly for clear sear marks, and avoid thermal shock by not rinsing a hot pan with cold water. Follow stove-specific guidance for heat levels to preserve the pan’s performance over time.
