Philips BHB968/00 hiustenmuotoilulaite kiharrin lämminvalkoinen 48 W 2 m

The Philips BHB968/00 Warm White 48 W curling iron is a compact hair styler designed for shaping and defining curls with controlled heat. The device uses a ceramic heating system to provide even temperature distribution across the heated surface. With a minimum temperature setting of 170 °C and four selectable heating levels, it is intended to adapt to different hair types while keeping operation straightforward. The unit is finished in white, weighs 527 g and includes a 2 m power cord for flexible use.

Advantages

The ceramic heating system promotes uniform heat transfer, reducing hot spots that can cause uneven styling. Four heating levels allow gradual adjustment between lower and higher temperatures to match hair texture and desired curl longevity. The 48 W power rating balances energy use and performance for household styling, while the 2 m cord increases reach and comfort during use. The device’s weight and form factor provide stability when holding and styling.

How to use

Plug the curling iron into a suitable mains outlet and select an appropriate heating level for your hair type, starting from a lower setting if hair is fine or chemically treated. Allow the device to reach the selected temperature before wrapping a small section of dry hair around the heated barrel, hold for a few seconds until the curl forms, then release gently. Repeat across required sections and finish by allowing curls to cool for longer hold. Turn off and unplug the device after use and let it cool completely before storing.

Recommendations

For best results, work with dry, detangled hair and use a heat protection product to reduce the risk of heat damage. Start at the lowest effective temperature and increase only if necessary. Avoid leaving hair in contact with the heated surface for prolonged periods to prevent overheating. Store the curling iron in a dry place once it has fully cooled.
