How to use

Place the Philips Functional Einstein Desk Light on a stable, level surface near an accessible mains outlet. Connect the lamp to a compatible 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz AC supply and switch it on using the integrated control. Use the step dimming control to set the desired brightness level and SceneSwitch to change the light colour as required. The integrated LED does not require separate bulb installation or replacement in normal use.

Recommendations

For reading or detailed tasks, select a higher step dim level and a neutral-to-cool SceneSwitch setting to improve contrast. For relaxed bedside orientation, choose a lower dim level and warmer SceneSwitch colour. Ensure the lamp is positioned to illuminate the work area without causing glare in the eyes or on screens. Disconnect from mains before cleaning and follow local disposal rules for electrical products.
