Philips metallihalogeenilamppu 39 W 3000 K 4000 lm

The Philips metal-halide bulb 39 W 3000 K 4000 lm is a single-ended ceramic metal-halide lamp designed to deliver strong, warm-white illumination. With a rated power of 39 W and a correlated colour temperature of 3000 K, the lamp produces approximately 4000 lumens of usable light output at a nominal operating current of 1000 mA. The lamp contains a small amount of mercury and is intended for use in compatible fixtures and electronic or magnetic control gear that support metal-halide technology.

Advantages

This metal-halide bulb provides a high luminous flux relative to its wattage, offering efficient bright light for indoor and some outdoor applications where warm white colour rendering is preferred. The ceramic arc tube construction contributes to stable light output and improved colour consistency over the lifetime of the lamp. Operating at 3000 K, the light appearance is near warm white, suitable for environments that require both visual comfort and clear illumination.

Suitable for

• Retail and display lighting requiring warm white, high-intensity illumination
• Hospitality areas such as hotel lobbies and corridors
• Office spaces and meeting rooms with compatible fixtures
• Architectural accent lighting and track luminaires

Key specifications

• Rated power: 39 W
• Luminous flux: 4000 lm
• Colour temperature: 3000 K (warm white)
• Nominal operating current: 1000 mA
• Contains mercury: 4.7 mg (handle and dispose according to local regulations)

How to use

Install the lamp only in fixtures and control gear rated for ceramic metal-halide lamps and for the specified operating current. Ensure the luminaire provides the correct mechanical support and any required ballast or ignitor is compatible with the lamp type. Allow an appropriate warm-up period after switching on for the lamp to reach its full luminous flux and colour stability. Replace lamps in sets or multi-lamp fixtures in accordance with manufacturer guidance to maintain consistent light output.

Recommendations

Do not use the lamp in totally enclosed luminaires unless the fixture and control gear are specified for such use. Observe local regulations for mercury-containing lamps when storing, recycling, or disposing of the product. For best performance, match the lamp with compatible ballasts and avoid frequent on/off switching which can shorten lamp life.
