PHS-memory 16GB DDR5 5600MHz SO-DIMM muistimoduuli Asus TUF Gaming FA608UP-RV048 (SP621565)

Upgrading a gaming laptop like the Asus TUF Gaming FA608UP-RV048 often starts with memory. This PHS-memory 16GB DDR5 SO-DIMM module steps in when your system stutters under multitasking or modern game loads. It replaces the original stick or fills an empty slot, giving the laptop enough headroom for smooth gameplay, streaming, and content creation on the go. The module is a single 16GB stick, so you can install it alongside an existing compatible module for dual-channel performance or use it alone for a solid capacity boost.

Key specifications

• Memory type: DDR5
• Form factor: SO-DIMM (262-pin)
• Speed: 5600 MHz (PC5-44800S)
• Data transfer rate: 44.8 GB/s

• ECC: Non-ECC, unbuffered
• Compatible with: Asus TUF Gaming FA608UP-RV048

Why choose it

DDR5 brings higher bandwidth and lower power consumption than DDR4, which matters for battery life and thermal headroom in thin gaming laptops. At 5600 MHz, this module delivers the speed that the FA608UP-RV048's processor expects, so you avoid the performance penalty of mismatched memory. The 1.1V operating voltage helps keep heat in check during long sessions. And because it's a standard SO-DIMM, installation is straightforward: just pop the back cover, align the notch, and press it into the slot.

Ideal use cases

• Upgrading the Asus TUF Gaming FA608UP-RV048 from 8GB or 16GB to 32GB total.
• Replacing a failed memory module in the same laptop model.
• Building a portable workstation for video editing, 3D modelling, or software development.
• Running memory-hungry games like Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, or Hogwarts Legacy with higher settings.

Good to know

This module is unbuffered and non-ECC, which is typical for consumer laptops and ensures full compatibility with the FA608UP-RV048. It comes as a single 16GB stick, so if you want dual-channel operation, you'll need two identical modules. Always check your laptop's service manual for the maximum supported capacity and configuration. The module is backed by PHS-memory's quality testing and carries the part number SP621565 for easy identification.
