Pihtisarja Knipex 00 20 09 V01

The Knipex 00 20 09 V01 pliers set consists of several precision tools designed for gripping, cutting and manipulating materials in professional and home workshop environments. The tools feature a durable construction and ergonomic blue-and-red handles that provide a secure hold and improved control. With a total weight of approximately 950 g, the set balances robustness and portability for a range of tasks where accurate force application and reliable jaw geometry are required.

Advantages

The set combines hardened cutting edges and shaped jaws to ensure consistent performance when cutting wire, bending metal or holding small components. Ergonomic handles reduce hand fatigue during repeated use while slip-resistant material improves safety in damp or oily conditions. The tools are manufactured to maintain alignment and jaw fit over time, supporting precise operation and long service life under normal workshop conditions.

Suitable for

• Electrical and electronics work requiring precise gripping and cutting of wires
• General mechanical repairs and assembly tasks
• Hobbyist and DIY projects involving metalworking or component assembly

Key specifications

• Brand: Knipex
• Tool type: pliers and cutters set
• Handle material: ergonomic, slip-resistant coating (blue and red)
• Construction: hardened jaws and cutting edges for durability
• Weight: approximately 950 g (complete set)
• Intended use: gripping, cutting, bending, and manipulating materials

How to use

Select the appropriate tool from the set for the specific task—use cutting pliers for wire cutting, combination pliers for gripping and bending, and long-nose pliers for reaching into tight spaces. Position the jaws correctly on the workpiece, apply steady hand pressure and make controlled cuts or bends. Maintain a firm grip on the ergonomic handles to ensure accurate force transfer and to minimize slippage. After use, clean off debris, check the jaw alignment and store the tools in a dry place to prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Use insulated gloves and eye protection when cutting or manipulating energized or spring-loaded components. Avoid using the tools as hammers or pry bars, and do not exceed their intended capacity. Periodically inspect cutting edges and joint fit, and sharpen or service tools as needed to preserve precise cutting performance and safe operation.
