Pistoke Molex 4-Pin ShiverPeaks BS78234

The ShiverPeaks Connector Molex 4-pin ShiverPeaks BS78234 is a cable adapter designed to join a standard 4-pin Molex power connector to a Mini Spox 4-pin connector. It provides a straightforward solution for converting legacy Molex power outputs to devices or peripherals that use the compact Mini Spox interface. The adapter is intended for stable DC power transfer and follows BS78234 compatibility guidelines for mechanical fit and electrical continuity.

Advantages

This connector offers a compact, single-cable conversion without the need for soldering or permanent modifications, reducing installation time. Its molded housing and secure pin contacts help maintain reliable electrical connection under typical desktop or equipment use. The adapter's form factor minimizes strain on connector pins and simplifies cable routing in constrained spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting older power supplies with 4-pin Molex outputs to devices requiring a Mini Spox 4-pin input
• Internal or external wiring in desktop PCs, test rigs, and hobby electronics
• Quick replacement or temporary power connections during repairs and diagnostics

Key specifications

• Connector types: 4-pin Molex (male) to 4-pin Mini Spox (female)
• Function: DC power adapter for low-voltage electronics
• Contact arrangement: 4 pins for power and ground lines
• Housing: molded plastic for mechanical protection and insulation
• Operating environment: typical indoor electronic equipment conditions

How to use

Align the Molex 4-pin male plug with the matching Molex socket on the power source, ensuring correct orientation to avoid reversed connections. Insert the Mini Spox 4-pin connector into the device's Mini Spox receptacle until it seats securely. Check that pins and housing are fully engaged and that wiring is not under tension. Power the system and verify that the target device receives the correct DC voltage before prolonged operation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, indoor environments and avoid exposure to excessive heat, moisture, or mechanical strain. Verify compatibility of supply voltage and current rating of the connected devices prior to use. For permanent installations or high-current applications, consider using dedicated wiring or connectors rated for the specific electrical load.
