Pistorasia CEE 7/3 Jung 820 W — IP44 termoplastikotelo, 250 V 16 A, musta/valkoinen

Jung 820 W is a CEE 7/3 socket outlet in a thermoplastic housing with IP44 protection, rated for 250 V and 16 A. Designed for indoor and semi‑outdoor situations where splash protection is required, this socket provides a standard European mains connection for household appliances, power tools and lighting circuits. The unit is offered in a two‑tone finish — black with white surround — and features screwless terminals that accept conductors up to 2.5 mm² for straightforward wiring.

Advantages

The IP44 thermoplastic enclosure ensures resistance to splashes and light mechanical stress while keeping the unit lightweight. Screwless terminals simplify installation and offer secure contacts for flexible and solid conductors up to 2.5 mm². Rated at 250 V and 16 A, the socket meets common domestic and light‑commercial power requirements. The design provides a conventional CEE 7/3 connection compatible with many European plugs, enabling easy integration into existing circuits.

How to use

Turn off the supply at the circuit breaker before starting installation. Mount the outlet into a compatible back box or surface-mounted enclosure, ensuring the enclosure and cable entries maintain the IP44 protection. Strip conductors to the recommended length and insert them into the screwless terminals, confirming secure contact by following the manufacturer's terminal operation method. After wiring, fix the device to the mounting box and restore power to verify proper operation with a suitable plug and connected appliance.

Recommendations

Use this socket in dry to moderately wet environments where splash protection is required but full weatherproofing is not necessary. Ensure the enclosure and surrounding installation maintain the IP44 rating by using appropriate grommets and sealed cable entries. For high‑load or continuous industrial applications, choose a socket with a higher current rating and appropriate protection devices.
