Pistorasia R/TV+SAT Televes 522001

The Televes 522001 socket outlet R/TV+SAT is a wall-mounted connection point for terrestrial radio (R), television (TV) and satellite (SAT) signals. Designed to support broadband signal distribution up to 2250 MHz, it provides a compact and robust option for residential and light-commercial installations. The housing is made of stainless steel and the unit has a rated operating current of 0.35 A. Its compact dimensions (76 mm x 40 mm x 76 mm) allow installation in standard flush boxes and slim wall cavities while maintaining reliable electrical and RF performance.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction ensures corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical stability in indoor environments. Support for frequencies up to 2250 MHz makes the outlet suitable for combined terrestrial, cable and satellite reception systems. Its compact size simplifies installation where space is limited, and the CE marking indicates conformity with applicable European safety and EMC requirements. The outlet offers a straightforward interface for coaxial connections, minimizing signal loss when used with appropriate cabling and splitters.

Suitable for

• Residential living rooms, bedrooms and home theaters requiring R/TV and SAT connections
• Small commercial premises with combined terrestrial and satellite distribution
• Renovations and new installations where a compact, durable wall outlet is needed

Key specifications

• Supported frequency range: up to 2250 MHz
• Material: stainless steel housing
• Rated current: 0.35 A
• Dimensions (W x D x H): 76 mm x 40 mm x 76 mm
• Mounting type: flush wall-mounted outlet for standard electrical boxes
• Connector types: coaxial connections for R/TV and SAT signals
• Certification: CE conformity

How to use

Install the outlet in a suitable flush mounting box following local electrical and building regulations. Connect incoming coaxial cables for terrestrial TV, radio and satellite to the corresponding connector points, ensuring correct polarity and secure mechanical fastening. Use high-quality, impedance-matched coaxial cables and appropriate connectors to minimize signal reflections and loss. After wiring, fix the outlet plate to the mounting box and test each service (R, TV, SAT) with a signal meter or receiver to confirm acceptable signal levels and proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use 75 Ω impedance coaxial cables and low-loss connectors; avoid sharp bends and excessive cable lengths between distribution points. When integrating the outlet into a larger distribution system, place amplifiers or multiswitches before the socket if signal splitting is required. Periodically inspect connections for corrosion or looseness, especially in environments with elevated humidity.
