PoE+ jatkorepeater Intellinet Gigabit High-Power

The Intellinet PoE+ Extender Repeater Gigabit High-Power (Model 560962) extends a PoE connection by an additional 100 m (328 ft.) over Cat5e or Cat6 cable per segment, allowing longer runs by cascading multiple extenders. The device draws power from the PoE input and requires no separate power supply. It supports IEEE 802.3at and forwards data at Gigabit speeds while delivering power to compatible PoE devices.

Advantages

This PoE+ extender enables longer cabling distances without running AC power to endpoints, reduces installation and wiring costs by using existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, and is simple to install with no configuration required. The unit supports Gigabit Ethernet and is housed in a compact black metal enclosure. It delivers PoE at 48 V and provides up to approximately 24.6 W output under typical conditions while accepting up to 30 W input power per IEEE 802.3at.

Suitable for

• Extending PoE connections for network cameras beyond 100 m
• Deploying wireless access points where AC power is not available
• Connecting VoIP phones and other PoE endpoints at extended distances
• Large-area network installations that require daisy-chaining extenders

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: INTELLINET, Model: 560962
• Standards: IEEE 802.3at / IEEE 802.3af compliant
• Ports: 2 × RJ-45 (PoE In, PoE Out), Gigabit Ethernet
• PoE voltage: 48 V
• Output power: up to ~24.6 W (typical) at 48 V; accepts up to 30 W input
• Maximum segment extension: 100 m (328 ft.) per extender; total length increases with cascading
• Product colour: Black; Weight: 0.1 kg

How to use

Connect the PoE source (PoE switch or PoE injector) to the PoE In port on the extender using Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Connect your PoE device (for example, an IP camera, access point, or VoIP phone) to the PoE Out port. The extender will pass data and power to the connected device automatically. To reach greater distances, connect additional PoE extenders in series (daisy-chain). No configuration or software is required.

Recommendations

Start with a PoE injector or switch that meets IEEE 802.3at and provides sufficient input power. Each cascaded extender reduces available PD power by roughly 4 W; account for this when planning the number of extenders and the power requirements of the endpoint device.
