The Artyk 170652 Bagless Lightweight handheld household cleaner is a compact vacuum designed for routine home cleaning tasks. Its bagless dust collection system simplifies waste disposal and reduces ongoing costs, while the lightweight handheld form factor makes it convenient for quick pickups across floors, carpets, upholstery and tight spaces. The model is intended for users who prioritize portability and ease of maintenance in everyday cleaning.

Advantages

This handheld cleaner provides straightforward operation with a bagless reservoir that is easy to empty and rinse, reducing the need for replacement bags. Its low weight improves manoeuvrability and makes it suitable for one-handed use when cleaning stairs, furniture or vehicle interiors. The compact dimensions aid storage in small homes or apartments, and the unit is suitable for quick spot-cleaning sessions without the setup time of larger vacuums.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The compact, handheld format is optimised for light-duty and spot cleaning rather than deep cleaning of large carpeted areas or whole-house maintenance. Users with very large homes or extensive wall-to-wall carpeting may find a full-size canister or upright vacuum more efficient. The dust capacity and motor power of handheld models are generally lower than those of larger machines, which can require more frequent emptying during extended use.

How to use

Before first use, ensure the unit is assembled according to the manufacturer’s instructions and that the dust container and filter are correctly fitted. Connect the cleaner to power and switch it on; move the nozzle over the surface at a steady pace to collect dust and debris. For upholstery or tight spots, use any included crevice or brush attachments to improve cleaning efficiency. Turn off and unplug the unit before removing the dust container. Empty the bagless container into a bin, and rinse or wipe it dry if the instructions permit. Check and clean the filter regularly to maintain suction performance and replace filters according to the manufacturer’s guidance if required.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use the Artyk 170652 for short, frequent cleaning sessions rather than prolonged continuous operation. Empty the dust container after heavy use and inspect the filter periodically to maintain optimal suction. For stubborn debris on carpets, make multiple slow passes and use compatible brush attachments when available.
