Pora Bosch SDS plus-7X 5,5 mm 115 mm

EXPERT SDS plus-7X Hammer Bits for rotary hammer drills — 5.5 mm diameter, 115 mm length. The Bosch SDS plus-7X is engineered for long life drilling in reinforced concrete and hard stone, combining a Full Carbide Head and Bosch Carbide Technology to maintain drilling performance and tip durability for demanding jobs.

Advantages

The Full Carbide Head is a 4-cutter design manufactured from a single piece of carbide to resist jamming and impact damage. Bosch Carbide Technology provides an extremely durable tip, while Bosch welding technology ensures a highly resistant connection between tip and shank. This bit lasts up to 3× longer than a standard drill bit under comparable conditions and delivers consistent drilling accuracy in hard materials.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in cured concrete
• Drilling hardened reinforced concrete and rebar-prone areas
• Drilling hard natural stone such as granite and gneiss
• Fixings and installations in construction and renovation work

How to use

Insert the SDS plus shank into the rotary hammer chuck until it locks. Use the rotary hammer in hammer drilling mode for concrete and stone. Apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit; allow the tool and the carbide head to do the cutting. Withdraw periodically to clear dust from the hole and reduce heat build-up. Replace the bit if the tip shows significant wear or chipping to maintain drilling quality and safety.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear protection and dust mask) and secure the workpiece before drilling. For best results in reinforced concrete, select a drill speed and feed rate suitable for your rotary hammer and monitor bit wear; replace the bit when performance deteriorates.
