Porasarja Bosch 2609255215 8 kpl

The Bosch 2609255215 drill bits set contains eight high-quality bits engineered for drilling into hardwood and softwood. Manufactured to provide a balance between strength and precision, the set is intended for general woodworking tasks where clean entry and controlled chip removal are required. Each bit in the set is designed to deliver consistent hole geometry and longer service life compared with generic spade or twist bits.

Advantages

The set offers durable cutting edges and stable shank design to reduce wobble during use and improve hole accuracy. Optimized flute geometry facilitates efficient chip evacuation, reducing the risk of clogging when drilling deeper holes in dense wood. Precision-ground tips promote fast centering and minimize splintering at the workpiece surface. The combination of consistent manufacturing tolerances and a selection of commonly used sizes provides practical versatility for both jobsite and workshop environments.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in hardwoods such as oak, beech and maple
• Drilling holes in softwoods like pine, spruce and cedar
• General carpentry and joinery tasks
• DIY furniture assembly and repair
• Pre-drilling for screws and dowel joints

Key specifications

• Quantity: 8 pieces
• Material: hardened steel with precision-ground cutting edges
• Tip type: centering tip for reduced splintering
• Shank: round/standard shank compatible with common drill chucks
• Suitable materials: hardwood and softwood
• Typical applications: wood drilling, pre-drilling for fasteners

How to use

Select the appropriate bit size for the required hole diameter and secure it in the drill's chuck. For clean holes, clamp the workpiece or secure it on a stable surface. Use a steady drilling speed suited to the wood density: moderate speeds for hardwoods and higher speeds for softer woods. Apply consistent, moderate pressure and allow the bit to cut without forcing. Withdraw the bit periodically on deep holes to clear chips, and finish with a lower speed to reduce splintering on the exit side.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate eye and hearing protection while drilling. For prolonged use, periodically inspect the cutting edges and replace bits when dulling reduces performance. Use a suitable lubricant or reduced speed only when advised for specific dense or treated timbers. Store the bits in their case or a dry compartment to prevent corrosion and maintain tip geometry.
