Portin estolaite Lindy USB-Port-Blocker 4 kpl:n pakkaus värikoodi roosa

USB port blockers physically prevent access to USB ports by allowing locks to be inserted and left in place. These blockers stop unauthorized users from connecting USB mass storage, pen drives or mobile devices to shared workstations and public computers with exposed USB ports.

Advantages

Port blockers provide a simple, low-cost physical security measure that does not require software. They are easy to install and remove with the matching key and reduce the risk of data leakage or introduction of malware via removable USB devices.

Key specifications

• Type: USB port blocker
• Function: Physical prevention of USB device insertion
• Compatibility: Fits standard USB-A ports
• Operation: Insert lock into port and secure with key; remove by reinserting key
• Note: Key is compatible only with the corresponding colour of port blocker

How to use

Attach the lock to its matching key, insert the lock into the USB-A port and release the sliding mechanism on the key to leave the lock engaged. To remove the blocker, insert the key back into the lock and pull the assembly out. Use the colour-matched key provided; keys do not interchange between different coloured blockers.

Recommendations

Keep spare keys stored securely and label blocker colours per location to ensure correct removal. Verify port compatibility before purchase.
