Porttitulpan avain Lindy USB Type-A porttitulpan avain pinkki

The Lindy USB Type A Port Blocker Key in Pink is a small ABS plastic key designed to work with matching-colour USB Type-A port blockers. It prevents unauthorized insertion of USB mass storage and mobile devices into Type-A ports on shared workstations and devices in offices or public spaces. Dimensions are approximately 18 mm (width) × 75.2 mm (depth) × 12 mm (height), and the key is lightweight for easy handling.

Advantages

The port blocker key provides a simple physical and visual barrier against casual tampering with USB Type-A ports. Its ABS construction offers durable everyday use, and the colour-coded design ensures compatibility only with the corresponding colour of port blocker. The small form factor makes it easy for system administrators to install, remove, and manage multiple blocked ports.

Recommendations

These port blockers act as a basic physical and visual deterrent to casual tampering but will not stop a determined attacker with physical access; consider combining them with software controls and supervised access where higher security is required.
