Pöytäviivain Staedtler Mars 563 150 mm alumiini valkoinen

The Staedtler Mars 563 150 mm Aluminium White desk ruler is a compact measuring tool designed for accurate, everyday use. Made from lightweight aluminium with a white finish, it provides straight-edge stability and precise scale markings along its 150 mm length. The ruler is intended for drawing, measuring and layout tasks where a reliable short ruler is required.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers enhanced durability compared with plastic rulers while remaining lightweight for frequent handling. Clear, high-contrast graduation markings allow accurate readings at a glance. Its 150 mm length makes it convenient for desk use, sketching, technical drawing and classroom activities. The white finish reduces glare and supports good visibility of the printed scale.

Suitable for

• Technical drawing and sketching
• School and classroom measurements
• Office layout and desk tasks
• Hobby and craft projects requiring precise short measurements

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium
• Length: 150 mm
• Finish: white
• Scale: metric graduations with clear markings
• Edge type: straight, rigid edge for guiding pens and pencils
• Weight: lightweight design for easy handling

How to use

Place the ruler on the work surface aligned with the line or measurement points. Hold the ruler firmly with one hand to prevent slipping and draw or measure along the straight edge with a pencil, pen or cutting tool as required. For precise measurements, ensure the zero mark is correctly aligned with your start point and view the graduations directly above the scale to avoid parallax error. When using the ruler as a guide for cutting, keep fingers clear of the cutting path and apply consistent pressure to maintain a straight cut.

Recommendations

Store the ruler flat or in a protective case to prevent bending and preserve accuracy. Clean with a soft cloth to remove marks or residue; avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. Use the ruler within its 150 mm range and pair with longer straightedges when extended measurement is needed.
