Prosessorin ilmajäähdytin SILVERSTONE SST-XE01-1700A — 8 cm:n tuuletin, 1000–5500 kierr./min, kaksoiskuulalaakeri, musta

SILVERSTONE SST-XE01-1700A is a compact processor air cooler built around an 8 cm fan that provides targeted active cooling for small form-factor systems. The fan operates across a wide speed range from 1000 to 5500 RPM, enabling variable airflow up to 15.79 CFM and static pressure up to 42.4 mmH2O. The unit is finished in black and uses a dual ball bearing for extended operational life. This cooler is designed to fit systems where focused CPU airflow and space efficiency are the primary requirements.

Advantages

The 8 cm fan design delivers concentrated airflow and elevated static pressure useful for tight heatsink assemblies or obstructed airflow paths. The wide speed range allows balancing between cooling performance and acoustic output, with maximum noise up to 58.1 dB at full speed. Dual ball bearing construction improves durability and reliability under continuous operation. The compact footprint and black finish make the cooler suitable for compact cases and builds with limited clearance.

Suitable for

• Small form-factor desktops and mini-ITX systems
• HTPCs and compact workstation builds with limited CPU clearance
• Systems requiring focused, high-static-pressure airflow over the processor
• Setups where component layout restricts larger tower coolers

How to use

Install the SILVERSTONE SST-XE01-1700A according to your motherboard and case compatibility, ensuring the fan is oriented to provide directed airflow across the CPU heatsink or heat spreader. Connect the fan to an appropriate fan header on the motherboard or to a fan controller that supports the required voltage or PWM control to take advantage of the adjustable speed range. Verify clearances around adjacent components and secure mounting to prevent vibration and ensure consistent contact with the CPU cooling surface.

Recommendations

For quieter operation, configure the fan curve in BIOS or a fan control utility to limit maximum RPM under typical workloads and allow higher speeds only under sustained CPU load. Regularly inspect and clean the fan blades and surrounding area to maintain airflow and thermal performance, and confirm the dual ball bearing shows no unusual noise as the cooler ages.
