Protect Bumper CTEK protective cover for vehicle battery chargers Model 120 is a form-fitting rubberized cover designed to protect the charger from knocks, scratches and light impacts encountered during workshop use and mobile service. The cover fits over the charger housing and preserves access to controls and connection points while reducing surface wear and protecting paint and plastic parts from abrasion during transport and daily handling.

Advantages

The cover offers a durable, flexible layer that absorbs shocks and prevents direct contact with hard surfaces, extending the service life of the charger by reducing cosmetic and mechanical damage. Its shape and material allow for quick fitting and removal without tools. The design maintains ventilation clearances and access to buttons and indicator lights so normal charger operation is unaffected.

How to use

Slide the Protect Bumper cover onto the charger by aligning the openings with the charger controls and cable outlets. Ensure the cover sits flush around ventilation openings and indicator windows so that the charger can be operated and monitored without removal. To remove, grip the edges and pull the cover off; no tools are required. Regularly inspect the cover for deep cuts or damage that could reduce protective performance.

Recommendations

For continued protection, keep the cover clean and free of oil or sharp debris. Avoid exposing the cover to extreme solvents or concentrated heat sources. If heavy impact or deep gouging occurs, replace the cover to maintain adequate protection for the charger.
