The ShiverPeaks BS70260 10 m Black telephone cable combines a 10-metre length with RJ11 and RJ45 terminations to provide a flexible wired connection for telephone and network devices. Designed for straightforward setup, the cable offers a simple solution to extend the reach between wall sockets, telephones, modems and small office equipment. The black jacket helps the cable blend into most home or office interiors while the molded connectors support reliable physical contact.

Advantages

This telephone cable provides a 10-metre reach that increases placement options for devices without requiring additional adapters. The presence of both RJ11 and RJ45 connectors makes it compatible with a range of telephony and data devices that share standard modular jacks. The cable's molded connector ends and protective outer jacket reduce strain at termination points and contribute to longer service life under normal indoor use.

Suitable for

• Connecting desk telephones to wall sockets in homes and offices
• Linking modems or ADSL splitters to telephone outlets
• Temporary or semi-permanent cable runs where a 10 m length is required
• Small office equipment that uses standard RJ11/RJ45 modular connections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 metres
• Color: Black
• Connector types: RJ11 and RJ45 modular plugs
• Outer jacket: flexible insulated sheath suitable for indoor use
• Intended use: analogue/digital telephony and compatible network devices

How to use

Uncoil the cable and route it along the desired path, avoiding sharp bends and sources of heavy interference. Insert the RJ11 or RJ45 connector into the matching port on the device or wall socket until it clicks into place. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain stable contact. When disconnecting, press the release tab on the connector before pulling to avoid damage. Store the cable loosely coiled when not in use to prevent kinks.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources. Use the cable indoors and avoid exposure to prolonged sunlight, moisture, or mechanical strain. Regularly inspect connector ends for dirt or damage and replace the cable if insulation or plugs show visible wear.
