Puhelinkaapeli ShiverPeaks S/CONN 4x2x0,6 J-Y(ST)Y, 10 m

ShiverPeaks S/CONN telephone cable, 10 m length, is a 4x2x0.6 J-Y(ST)Y round cable designed for analogue and digital telephone wiring and low-voltage signal transmission. The construction comprises four twisted pairs of 0.6 mm conductors with individual screening and an overall PVC sheath, providing stable pair-wise signal routing and improved immunity to external interference in under-plaster and internal installations.

Advantages

The cable's screened pairs and overall shield reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, supporting clearer voice and low-speed data transmission. Its 0.6 mm core diameter balances flexibility and mechanical strength for easy routing in conduit or inside walls. The PVC jacket and standardized J-Y(ST)Y construction offer reliable insulation, flame-retardant properties typical for mixed-signal telephone cables, and consistent electrical characteristics over the 10 m length.

Suitable for

• Analogue and ISDN telephone lines in residential and commercial buildings
• Low-voltage signal transmission and alarm system cabling
• In-wall and under-plaster installations in dry indoor environments
• Wiring of multi-extension telephone systems and small PBX connections

Key specifications

• Number of pairs: 4 twisted pairs
• Conductor diameter: 0.6 mm
• Cable type: J-Y(ST)Y — individually screened pairs with overall sheath
• Length: 10 m
• Shape: round cable suitable for concealed installation
• Insulation and jacket material: PVC

How to use

Route the cable through conduits or within wall cavities, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress. Strip the outer sheath carefully to expose the individually screened pairs, then terminate each pair to the matching terminals of telephony equipment or distribution blocks following standard color codes. Ensure the overall shield and individual pair screens are grounded or connected according to site grounding practice to maintain the screening effectiveness. Test continuity and line quality after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs away from high-voltage power lines and large electrical equipment to minimize induced interference. Use appropriate cable clips or conduit for concealed installations and avoid excessive pulling force during installation. Verify compatibility with the connected telephone or signal equipment and follow local wiring regulations for in-wall cabling.
