Puhelinliitäntäkaapeli ShiverPeaks 70002-0.5 — TAE-F-uros – RJ45-uros, 0,5 m

ShiverPeaks 70002-0.5 is a 0.5 m telephone connection cable featuring a TAE-F plug on one end and an RJ45 plug on the other. It enables a direct wired interface between legacy German TAE telephone sockets and devices or patch panels using an RJ45 jack. The compact length and straight-through wiring make it suitable for short connections behind desks, PBX interfaces, or when integrating older handsets and telecommunication modules into modern infrastructure.

Advantages

The cable provides a reliable physical connection with standardized connectors, ensuring compatibility between TAE-F telephone equipment and RJ45-based ports. Its short 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and signal degradation over short runs. The moulded plugs offer secure contact and strain relief for everyday office and home use. Designed for simple plug-and-play installation, it removes the need for manual wiring or adapter boxes for common conversions.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy TAE-F telephones to RJ45 ports on PBX systems or wall outlets
• Short desktop or patch connections in home and small office environments
• Integrating older telephony hardware with modern network termination points
• Testing and temporary setups where a brief, robust connection is required

Key specifications

• Connector A: TAE-F (female telephone plug interface)
• Connector B: RJ45 (8P8C modular plug)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Cable type: telephone/voice patch cable with straight wiring
• Colour: typically black (confirm on product label)

How to use

Insert the TAE-F plug into the corresponding TAE wall socket or the TAE input of the telephone device, and insert the RJ45 plug into the RJ45 jack on the PBX, router adapter, or patch panel. Ensure both connectors are fully seated until the retention latches engage where applicable. No additional configuration is required for basic voice connections; verify dial tone or device signalling after connecting. For PBX integration, consult the PBX wiring scheme to confirm the correct port mapping.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-distance connections only; avoid running it over long distances to prevent signal loss. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid sharp bends near the connector ends. When connecting to equipment with different pinouts or specialised interfaces, verify compatibility before use or consult technical documentation to avoid improper wiring.
