Puristuspihdit Televes 209802 RJ45-liittimille, automaattinen katkaisu, malli 37230

The Televes crimping machine 209802 (model 37230) is a handheld tool designed for crimping RJ45 connectors with integrated automatic cutting. It combines termination and trimming in a single operation, enabling efficient assembly of Ethernet patch cords and network cable terminations. The tool is intended for use on standard twisted-pair network cables including Cat5 and Cat6, and is suitable for fieldwork and workshop environments where reliable, repeatable RJ45 crimps are required.

Advantages

This crimping machine integrates a cutting mechanism that trims excess conductor length automatically as the connector is crimped, reducing the number of steps required for each termination and improving throughput. The handheld design provides mobility for technicians working on-site, while the ergonomic handle ensures controlled pressure during crimping. The tool supports consistent retention of RJ45 plugs to cable jackets, producing secure electrical and mechanical contacts appropriate for Ethernet installations.

Suitable for

• Terminating Cat5 and Cat6 twisted-pair network cables
• Assembling Ethernet patch cords in the field or workshop
• Network installation and maintenance tasks requiring RJ45 connector crimping
• Small-batch cable preparation for switches, routers, and patch panels

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ45 (8P8C) crimping
• Functionality: Integrated automatic cutting of excess conductor length during crimping
• Intended cable types: Twisted-pair Ethernet cables, including Cat5 and Cat6
• Form factor: Handheld, manual operation
• Application environment: Field service and workshop use

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket to the appropriate length and arranging the individual conductors in the correct wiring order. Insert the conductors fully into the RJ45 connector so that the cable jacket reaches the connector's strain relief. Place the connector into the crimping slot of the tool and squeeze the handles firmly until the crimp cycle completes and the integrated cutter trims excess conductor length. Release the handles and inspect the terminated connector to confirm proper pin seating and jacket retention.

Recommendations

Use the tool with standard RJ45 plugs and ensure conductor ordering (T568A or T568B) is consistent with the installation. Verify crimps periodically with a continuity or cable tester to confirm pins and pairs are correctly connected for reliable network performance.
