Puristustyökalu Knipex Twistor16 200 mm

The Knipex Twistor16 200mm crimping tool is a compact, precision instrument designed for crimping insulated and uninsulated connectors used in network and electrical installations. At 200 mm overall length, this Knipex tool combines a narrow head profile for access in confined spaces with a robust mechanism that ensures consistent crimp geometry. The tool's ergonomically shaped handles and durable construction are intended to provide reliable performance in professional and DIY environments.

Advantages

The Twistor16 offers accurate and repeatable crimps with minimal hand effort thanks to its optimized leverage and jaw geometry. Its compact 200 mm size improves maneuverability in tight cable runs and patch panels. High-quality materials and precision manufacturing increase wear resistance and maintain crimping consistency over many cycles. The multi-colour handle finish improves visibility and grip orientation during use.

Suitable for

• Crimping RJ45, RJ11 and similar network connectors in confined spaces
• Field service and on-site network installations
• Electrical and low-voltage wiring requiring precise connector crimps
• Maintenance tasks in server rooms, telecommunications racks, and control cabinets

Key specifications

• Overall length: 200 mm
• Intended use: crimping of insulated and uninsulated connectors
• Head profile: narrow for access in confined spaces
• Handle design: ergonomic, multi-colour finish (black, blue, red, silver)
• Construction: precision-machined jaws and robust pivot for consistent crimps

How to use

Position the connector and conductor in the appropriate jaw profile and close the handles until the crimp is complete. Ensure the conductor is fully inserted into the connector before applying full pressure. After crimping, visually inspect the crimp for proper deformation and retention of the conductor. If required, test electrical continuity and mechanical pull-out strength according to the connector manufacturer's recommendations.

Recommendations

Use the Twistor16 in combination with connector types and wire gauges specified by the connector manufacturer. Keep the tool clean and lightly lubricate the pivot points periodically to maintain smooth operation. Inspect jaws for wear and replace the tool if crimps become inconsistent. Store the tool in a dry place to avoid corrosion and preserve the finish.
