Putki Alphacool 18528

The Alphacool 18528 tube is transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tubing with a 13 mm outer diameter and a length of 100 cm, created for liquid cooling systems. Manufactured in Germany, it offers a combination of colour options in the product range and is intended to provide reliable fluid flow and compatibility with standard water-cooling fittings.

Advantages

These tubes were developed to provide intense, consistent colouration from the tubing itself rather than relying on coloured coolant, reducing the risk of pigment particles entering the loop. The material mix delivers good flexibility for tight bending radii while maintaining dimensional stability and reliable handling during installation. German manufacturing ensures consistent quality and durability appropriate for both hobbyists and experienced water-cooling users.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops
• Replacement or extension of existing tubing in water-cooling systems
• Builds requiring transparent PVC tubing with a 13 mm diameter

How to use

Cut the tube to the required length with a sharp tubing cutter or knife, ensuring square and clean ends for secure connections. Slide the tube over compatible fittings and clamps or compression fittings according to the fitting manufacturer’s instructions. Check for correct seating and secure any clamps to prevent leaks. During installation, avoid excessively sharp bends beyond the tube’s minimum bend radius to preserve flow and prevent kinking.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, flush and fill the loop with a suitable coolant; avoid mixing pigment-based additives with transparent tubing if you want to preserve clarity. Inspect connections and clamps periodically and replace tubing if you detect hardening, discoloration, or cracks.
