Puukkosaha Hazet 9234-1

The Hazet 9234-1 cordless reciprocating saw is a handheld power saw designed for cutting a wide range of materials in construction, renovation and repair tasks. It combines a high-performance motor with adjustable speed settings and a balanced, lightweight body that helps reduce operator fatigue. The tool is engineered for fast blade changes and sustained runtime to support extended work periods on site or in a workshop.

Advantages

The saw delivers variable cutting speed to match material and application requirements, allowing precise control during plunge cuts or finish work. Its compact, lightweight design improves access to confined spaces and makes overhead or extended use easier. Rapid blade change capability minimizes downtime when switching between metal, wood or composite blades. Durable construction and ergonomic grips provide reliable handling and stable cutting performance.

Suitable for

• Cutting wood, soft metals and composite materials
• Demolition and remodeling work in tight or awkward spaces
• Electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-in tasks requiring plunge cuts
• On-site repairs and maintenance where cordless operation is required

Key specifications

• Power type: cordless, battery-operated
• Speed control: adjustable variable speed settings
• Blade change: tool-free quick-change mechanism
• Design: compact, lightweight, ergonomic housing
• Application: multi-material cutting including wood and soft metals

How to use

Fit the correct blade for the material and ensure the blade is securely locked by the quick-change mechanism before powering the saw. Select an appropriate speed setting for the workpiece; lower speeds for metals and higher speeds for wood. Hold the tool with a firm two-handed grip, position the shoe against the work surface to stabilize the cut, and start cutting with steady forward motion. Allow the blade to do the cutting without forcing the tool to avoid overheating and premature wear.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the saw with blades rated for the target material and keep the battery charged to maintain consistent power output. Use personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and gloves, and inspect blades regularly for wear or damage. When cutting metal, use slower speeds and steady pressure; when cutting wood, ensure proper support of the workpiece to prevent binding.
