Puukkosahanterä Silky KSI572717 205 mm leveys 40 mm syvyys

The Silky KSI572717 205 mm width 40 mm depth reciprocating saw blade is designed for pruning and general garden cutting tasks. Made to fit compatible Silky reciprocating saw tools, the blade combines a moderate length and a narrow profile to access branches and stems in confined spaces. The blade geometry and cutting edge are optimized for clean cuts on green wood and small-diameter branches, supporting efficient pruning and trimming operations.

Advantages

This reciprocating saw blade offers a balance of cutting reach and maneuverability due to its 205 mm length and 40 mm blade depth. The narrow depth allows easier access into tight crowns and between branches while the blade thickness and tooth design provide controlled cutting performance. Compatibility with Silky reciprocating saw systems ensures a secure fit and consistent operation when used with the appropriate tool.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium branches in gardens and orchards
• Trimming shrubs and hedge maintenance where access is limited
• General green wood cutting and light landscaping tasks

Key specifications

• Blade length: 205 mm total length for cutting reach
• Blade depth: 40 mm narrow profile for confined access
• Material and finish: durable cutting steel suitable for pruning applications
• Tooth design: configured for clean cuts in green wood and fibrous stems
• Intended tool type: reciprocating saw blade compatible with Silky reciprocating saw handles and adapters

How to use

Install the blade according to the reciprocating saw tool manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring it is locked securely before operation. Position the saw so the blade aligns with the branch or stem to be cut and apply steady, controlled strokes; avoid excessive lateral force to maintain blade life and achieve a clean cut. For pruning, cut just outside the branch collar for proper wound closure and health of the plant.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment (gloves and eye protection) when cutting. Inspect the blade for damage before each use and replace it if teeth are chipped or the blade is bent. For prolonged performance, clean sap and debris from the blade after use and store it dry to reduce corrosion.
