Pyörösahanterät Bosch Optiline Wood 2608640642

The Bosch Optiline Wood Circular Saw Blade 2608640642 is designed for precise, clean cuts in all types of wood and wood-based materials. It features precision-ground carbide teeth and a dimensionally stable SK5 hardened steel body (> 40 HRC) that maintains accuracy during cutting. Expansion slots in the blade reduce vibration, lower noise and help control heat development. The blade is suitable for use in handheld saws, mitre saws, sliding mitre saws and table saws.

Advantages

The Optiline Wood blade combines high-quality carbide teeth with a thin kerf design to minimise material loss and improve cutting efficiency. Precision grinding of the teeth provides clean cuts while the SK5 hardened-steel base ensures consistent geometry and long-term stability. Expansion slots reduce vibration and noise and help prevent excessive heat build-up during prolonged use. Different tooth counts with ATB (Alternate Top Bevel) geometry allow choosing between cleaner finishes (high tooth count) and faster, more aggressive cutting (low tooth count).

Suitable for

• Crosscuts and rip cuts in softwood and hardwood
• Cutting plywood, particleboard and MDF
• Hand-held circular saws
• Mitre and sliding mitre saws
• Table saws for workshop and on-site use

How to use

Install the blade on a compatible saw following the machine manufacturer’s safety instructions and the blade’s mounting direction. Ensure the saw is unplugged or the battery removed before changing the blade. Use appropriate blade guards and personal protective equipment (eye and hearing protection, gloves). Select a blade with a tooth count suited to the desired finish (higher tooth count for finer, cleaner cuts; lower tooth count for faster, rougher cuts). Feed the workpiece at a steady speed without forcing the blade to maintain cut quality and avoid overheating.

Recommendations

For best results, match the blade tooth count to the material and desired finish, check blade alignment and saw arbor runout regularly, and let the blade cool between long cutting runs to preserve carbide life. Do not use the blade on metals or abrasive non-wood materials.
